THE SUTRA OF DHARANI FOR THE ELIMINATION OF ALL ILLNESS
除一切疾病陀羅尼經

Thus as I heard.
At one time, the Bhagavat dwelt at the city of Srāvastī of Jeta Grove in the garden of Anathapindika, together with a crowd of twelve hundred and fifty great Bhikkhus, most of them were great Bodhisattva-mahasattvas. At that time, the World-honored one said to Ananda: “ Ananda, there is a Dharani which can eliminate all illness of the world, you should receive it, read and chant it fluently and considerate it properly.
Then he spoke the Dharani:
Tadyathã, Vimale Vimale, Vana-Kokile, Srĩmatĩ, Kundale, Dundubhi, Indra-Agni, Mauli, Svãhã.
Buddha told Ananda: Anyone chanting and receiving this Dharani, if he or she having Indigestion, Infectious Disease, Phlegm, suffering from Hemorrhoids, Fistula, Respiratory Diseases, Cough, Fever, Headache, Stomach Ache. Ghost Sickness. All these illness will be eliminated. I look at him or her with my Buddha eye, if the heavenly Devils, Brahmas, Sramanas, Brahmins were causing obtructions or problems, unless it was decided to end the karmic retribution, otherwise, no one is capable of violating and surpassing this order to cause obstructions and problems to him or her.The Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak Sambuddha had said: In all sentient beings, the Tatahgata is most honored and distinguished, in all Dharmas, the elimination of desire is most honored, in all the crowds, the Sangha is most honored. I make these true words wishing me and all sentient beings with good digestion in eating and drinking, having peace and happiness. Svaha.
At that time, after spoken this Sutra, the Bhikkhu-Monks, Bodhisattva-mahasattvas and the great crowd, all Devas, Nāgas and the Eight Sections received the Buddha's teaching and practiced it.
